Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using the desktop application "kirinuki" (the "App") provided by Ryusei Igarashi (11gather11, the "Developer"). By using the App, users agree to these Terms. The Japanese version is at /terms/; both versions have the same content.

Agreement to the YouTube Terms of Service

The App uses YouTube API Services to upload the user's videos to the user's own YouTube channel. By using the App, users agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Information handled through YouTube API Services is subject to the Google Privacy Policy. How the App handles information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Content you upload

• Before uploading, users must confirm that the content complies with the YouTube Community Guidelines. The App does not start an upload until the user ticks this confirmation.
• Users must hold the rights and permissions needed to publish the videos they upload, including any music, footage or game visuals in them.
• The user decides the title, description and privacy status (public, unlisted or private). The App may pre-fill a draft, which the user can review and edit before uploading.
• Uploaded videos are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

Use of external services

The App calls the Gemini API (Google) and Claude (Anthropic) as configured by the user. Users must follow each service's terms (Gemini API Additional Terms of Service, Anthropic's terms) and bear any costs of using them.

Prohibited uses

• Using the App for any purpose that violates the law, the YouTube Terms of Service, or the terms of any other service.
• Making or uploading, with the App, content that infringes the rights of others (copyright, publicity, privacy and so on).
• Using the App to access another person's YouTube account or channel without their permission.

Warranty and liability

• The App is provided free of charge and "as is". The Developer does not warrant that the App works without errors or is fit for any particular purpose.
• Candidates, subtitles, titles and other output made by the App's AI may contain mistakes. Users should check them before publishing.
• To the extent permitted by law, the Developer is not liable for damages arising from use of the App.

Changes to these Terms

The Developer may change these Terms. When they change, this page is updated and the "Last updated" date above is revised.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
